Machinist Technologies

Down here at 195 Bhosari Rajmahal Road, things are always moving fast. Machinist Technologies is right in the middle of all the industrial action and you can feel the vibrations from the heavy trucks passing by on the main road. The workspace is a bit of a maze with different machines and workstations set up wherever they could fit over the years. We have a small cabin in the front where we keep the main files, but most of the time we are out on the floor getting our hands dirty. It gets very hot in the summer months because the roof is high and the fans don't always reach the corners where we stand. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we usually go twice a day to get out of the noise for a few minutes. We have a lot of old tools that have been around since the day the doors first opened and they still work better than some of the newer stuff we bought recently. It is not the cleanest place in the world and there is always a layer of metal shavings on the floor by the end of the shift. We just sweep it up and start again the next morning. Most of the people working here live nearby so we see each other at the market too. It is just a practical, hardworking spot in a busy part of town.
