Maanand Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right here in Pulkoti village. We work out of House No 388, which is Jaywant Ramchandra Galande’s place. Most of us have been farming in this area our whole lives. We know every corner of the fields around Pulkoti. We put this company together because doing everything solo was getting too difficult. Between the rising costs of things like fertilizer and the way the market jumps around, we needed a better way to handle it. So now we gather at Jaywant’s house to plan things out. We aren't a big company with a lot of money. We are just local farmers who put our resources together. We talk about the crops, the rain, and what we’re going to plant next. Sometimes we have long discussions about the best way to move the harvest. It’s all very practical stuff. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of ads. People know us because we live here. We see each other at the market and in the village every day. If you need to find us, just ask for the Galande house. We’re usually there working on something related to the farm business. It’s a slow process building this up, but we’re doing it one step at a time. We just want to make sure the farming community in Pulkoti stays strong.
