M S Aksons Solar Equipments Pvt Ltd operates out of Kothrud. Our place is at 42/1 in Maheshwari Nagar, tucked away near Sahajanand Society and the Gandhi Bhavan area. It’s a bit of a mix of residential and commercial around here. We deal with solar panels and all the gear that goes with them. Solar is a lot of work, involves a lot of heavy lifting and technical planning. We spend a good chunk of our week out at sites, but the office in Kothrud is where the planning happens. It’s a functional space, nothing too fancy. We have some samples of the equipment lying around so people can see what they are getting. Being near Gandhi Bhavan makes it easy to give directions. The team has been together for a bit now. We know each other's habits. Some of us are better at the mechanical stuff, while others handle the paperwork and permits. It’s a decent balance. We don’t really use big slogans. We just show up and install the stuff. People in Pune are getting more into solar these days, so we stay pretty active. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work on roofs, but we manage. It’s a solid business, and we take it one day at a time. We like being part of the Kothrud community. It feels like home to us. We’ve seen the neighborhood grow and we are glad to be a small part of that growth.
