M K Supplier operates out of the Hadapsar and Ellis Bridge areas. It’s a lot of moving back and forth between these points. We don't have a massive warehouse with robots; it’s just us and our storage space. Managing supplies means we are always on the phone or checking lists. Hadapsar is a busy spot, and getting through the traffic to Ellis Bridge can take some time depending on the day. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we know the shortcuts by heart. The office is small and mostly filled with ledgers and delivery notes. We don't have a corporate office with a view, just a place to park the vehicles and organize the loads. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or a breakdown, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We aren't trying to be the biggest supplier in the country, just a reliable one for the people who know us. The work can be tiring, especially when there are a lot of orders at once. We usually have a cup of tea in the afternoon to keep us going. It’s a basic operation, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We like the fact that we know our regular customers and where they are located. It’s about getting the goods from point A to point B without too much fuss. We've been at this for years now and it works.
