Bombay Hosiery

You can find Bombay Hosiery over at No. 289 M. G. Road in the Camp area. It’s a pretty central spot, so we see a lot of different people coming through every day. We’ve been operating from this address for a while now, focusing on all the usual hosiery items people need. It’s one of those shops where things are stacked up on the shelves, and we usually know exactly which pile has what size or color. M. G. Road can get really packed, especially on weekends when everyone is out shopping, so it stays fairly lively around here. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most of the people who come in are just looking for something practical. We handle the sales ourselves and keep an eye on what needs to be reordered. It’s a bit of a routine, really. We get the shop ready in the morning, wait for the first few customers, and keep things going until it’s time to close up at night. The Camp area has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that daily life. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just selling socks, undergarments, and other hosiery stuff from our little corner on M. G. Road. It’s honest work and we’ve built some good relationships with the people who live and work nearby over the years. It’s just a normal shop doing normal business every day.
