Started the shop in Chinchwad near the Aditiya Birla Hospital Road quite some time ago. It is a busy spot with cars and ambulances going by all day. We do a bit of everything here, from fixing up engines to sorting out travel plans for people who need to get somewhere in a hurry. The office isn't much to look at, just some chairs and a desk covered in papers and keys. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and checking which cars are ready to go. The road outside gets really dusty in the summer, so we are always wiping down the windscreens. People stop by on their way to the hospital or when they are planning a trip out of town. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the roads and the machines. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it is quiet enough to hear the birds in the trees behind the building. We just keep things moving. It is a lot of work keeping track of the schedules and making sure the mechanics have what they need. There is always a smell of oil and petrol in the air, which you get used to after a week. We like being in this part of Chinchwad because everyone knows where the hospital is, so it is easy to find us. We just do our bit every day and head home when the sun goes down.
