Lotus Environments

We are based out in Saswad, which is a bit of a drive from Pune city. Our place is in Taradatta Park, in the Purandar district. It’s much quieter out here than in the city, which suits the name Lotus Environments quite well. We don't have the typical glass-and-steel office. Instead, we have a more modest setup that fits in with the local surroundings. The air is a bit fresher here, and we don't have to deal with the constant honking of city traffic. Most of us come from the nearby villages or from the edge of Pune. Our work day starts fairly early, and we spend a lot of time dealing with things that are more practical than theoretical. We don't have a big corporate structure or complicated hierarchies. It’s just a small group of us who know what needs to be done each day. Sometimes we have tea outside under the trees when the weather is nice. We don't really do big presentations or have polished brochures. If people want to know about us, they usually just come by and have a chat at the gate. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, based on knowing people and being present in the community. We like the pace of life here in Saswad and wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. It’s a good spot for people who like to see the hills while they work.
