Loris Unisex Salon

We are over at Hindustan House in Kondhwa Khurd, right near Omkar Karyalaya. Loris Unisex Salon is a bit of a mix. We get men, women, and plenty of kids too. The area around Survey 371 is growing fast, so we see a lot of new faces lately. The salon is not some high-end place with marble floors. It is a practical space. We have a few stations for hair and a small corner for other stuff. The lighting is okay, but we could probably use a few more bulbs. Sometimes the water heater takes a minute to get going in the mornings. We just deal with it. It is a family-run feel even though we have a couple of staff members who are not related. Everyone knows everyone’s business here. We have the TV on most of the time, usually the news or some music videos. It keeps the kids quiet while their parents get their hair done. Kondhwa is a busy part of Pune, and we are right in the middle of it. We do not have those fancy coffee machines, just a kettle in the back if someone really wants a tea. Most people just come in, get what they need, and head back out to their day. It is a busy life for everyone. We try to keep the prices fair so the locals keep coming back. That is the main thing for us, just staying busy and doing the job.
