This is where we are, right in Flat No 1 of Nisarg Society. It is near the Chaitynanagari area, not far from the Warje Jakat Naka in Pune. The name on the door says London Borough Of Tower Hamlets, which sounds like it is from somewhere else, but we are right here in India. It is a ground floor flat, so it is easy to walk into from the street. We have got a few rooms set up for our daily work. There are always people walking past the windows since we are close to the main gate of the society. The area is usually quiet except for when the kids are playing outside in the evenings. We spend most of our time at our desks. There is a lot of paperwork and things to organize on the shelves. We do not have any big posters or bright lights, just normal bulbs and some old fans that keep things cool enough. Sometimes we have to explain the address to delivery drivers because the survey numbers can be a bit confusing around Warje. It is a functional space for what we do. We are not doing anything flashy, just keeping up with the daily tasks that come across our desks. It is a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work somehow. We have been at this spot for a while now.
