Our office is on the 4th floor of the Bhagyashri Apartment in Meetha Nagar. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, but we like the view from up here. We spend our days trying to match people with the right jobs. It is mostly about listening to what someone needs and then looking through our lists to see who fits best. We’ve been doing this in Pune for a while now, and we’ve seen all sorts of people come through Flat No. 8. Some are just starting out in their first job and others are looking for a big change in their middle years. We don’t use any fancy algorithms or anything like that; we just talk to people and try to use our common sense to make matches. The office is usually filled with files and the sound of phones ringing constantly. It’s not a polished corporate environment, just a place where honest work gets done. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the hallway when we have a lot of interviews scheduled at once, but we always make it work. We think it’s important to stay grounded and treat everyone who walks in with a bit of respect and a smile. Finding a job is a stressful thing, so we try not to make it any harder than it needs to be for the folks who come to us. We’re just a small team trying to help the local community find steady work. It’s simple but it keeps us busy and happy.
