Liwa Salon

Liwa Salon is located on the second floor of the Sneh Avenue Building at Flat No 7. We are on Dr Ketkar Road which is just off the main Karve Road in the Deccan area of Pune. Being on the second floor means it is a bit quieter than being right on the sidewalk but we can still hear the bells and shouting from Kalmadi Shamrao School right across the street. The school kids are always running around during their breaks and it gives the whole area a lot of energy. Since we are in a flat it feels a bit more like a home than a regular commercial shop. We have set up different sections for the salon work and it is a comfortable place for people to come and relax for a bit while they get their hair or beauty treatments done. Karve Road is a very famous part of Pune so there is always something happening nearby. We get a mix of students from the nearby colleges and families who live in the surrounding buildings. It is a bit of a climb up to the second floor if the lift is acting up but most people don't seem to mind. We try to keep the place looking decent and clean but it is a working salon so there is always a bit of water on the floor or a towel waiting to be washed. We just do our work and keep things moving.
