We’ve been here in Pune for a while now, specifically in the Kothrud area at Mourya Garden. It’s a busy spot right on New D P Road, opposite Guruganesh Nagar, so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving about. Our office is in the C Wing, Flat 14, within building 52 26. Mostly, we deal with engines and power stuff because that is what Lister Petter is known for globally. Here in India, we handle the day-to-day things like coordinating with different sites and making sure people get the parts they need. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular workplace where we keep things moving. The staff here knows the machines pretty well. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the road noise, but we get used to it. We spend most of the morning answering emails and talking to technicians who are out in the field. Kothrud has changed a lot over the years, becoming much more crowded than it used to be. Working out of an apartment-style office like this makes it feel a bit more like a home than a big corporate tower. We have our tea breaks together and discuss what needs to be shipped out next. It’s honest work, keeping engines running and making sure the backup power systems don't fail when someone needs them. Nothing too complicated, just keeping the business going from this corner of Pune every day.
