Our place is in the B. I. T Building, units 1, 2, and 32, on Dr. Meisheri Road. It’s right near the Sandhurst Road Station in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving and always loud. We are Lg Electronics India Ltd. Being so close to the station is great for us because it makes getting to work easy, even with the train crowds. The building itself is an old one, full of character and a bit of wear and tear. Our office isn't fancy. It's got high ceilings and lots of paperwork. We handle a lot of the logistics for the city from here. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, so the fans are always going. We have a lot of visitors because of where we are located. Sometimes it’s a delivery person, sometimes it’s a customer with a question. We don't have a formal reception desk; you just come in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a bit chaotic, but we have a system that works for us. We’ve been in this part of Mumbai for a long time. The staff knows the local snacks and the best ways to avoid the rain during monsoon. We just focus on getting the gadgets and parts where they need to go. It’s honest work in a busy part of town. No frills, just us doing our daily jobs near the tracks.
