Our office is over at B 10 705 Brahma Avenue, right in the Kondwa area of Pune. It’s a decent building, usually quite a lot of traffic nearby. We’ve been working on human resources stuff for a while now. It’s mostly just making sure people get hired into the right spots and that the paperwork doesn't pile up too high. Pune is a big city, and there are always folks looking for a fresh start or companies needing more hands on deck. We spend a lot of time on the phone. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes things take longer than they should, but we get it done eventually. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of people; we’re just a small team trying to manage the daily grind of HR. My desk is near the window, and I can see the street from there. It gets noisy in the afternoons. People drop by with their CVs, and we try to give them a few minutes if we aren't swamped. It’s not always easy, especially when expectations don’t match what’s available. But that is just how it goes in this business. We handle the bits and pieces of employment that others find boring. Most days are long, but staying in Kondwa keeps us close to where everything is happening. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way, helping local firms fill their desks.
