Lavnay Beauty Parlour

You can find us at 491 Shaniwar Peth. This is a very traditional area of Pune, and our parlour is just a small part of it. We are in a building that has been around for a long time. The space inside is quite cozy, maybe even a bit cramped when we have more than three people waiting, but we make it work. We have the basic equipment for hair and skin care. Most of the women who come here are from the surrounding apartments. They don’t want anything too complicated, just a regular service they can afford. We don't use any of those big marketing words to describe what we do. We just do the work. The lighting isn't the best, but we have enough mirrors to see what's going on. Sometimes the water pressure in this part of town is a bit low, so we have to keep buckets ready, but that is just part of living in Shaniwar Peth. We keep a few magazines on the table, mostly old ones, for when people have to wait. It is a very local vibe. We know about our customers' kids and their families because we talk while we work. It is not a high-end salon, just a place where you can get your beauty work done without any fuss or high prices. Lavnay Beauty Parlour is practical and it’s ours.
