Kulkarni Guruji

The spot here at Sai Chowk on T N Road is usually pretty lively. Being known as Kulkarni Guruji means a lot of people from the Sangavi area stop by for one reason or another. My place isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s just a small space near the junction where the traffic is always moving. I’ve lived and worked in this part of town for years and I’ve seen the buildings go up and the roads change. Inside it smells a bit like incense and old paper. I don’t use a computer for everything because I still like writing things down by hand. It feels more personal that way. People come to me when they are looking for a bit of guidance or just someone to talk to about their plans. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy website. It’s just me and the occasional helper who comes in to tidy up. The noise from the chowk can be loud but you get used to the horns and the shouting after a while. I keep the door open most of the time so the air can circulate through the room. It’s a very local way of doing things. I don't try to impress anyone with big titles or expensive furniture. If you need to find me just ask someone near Sai Chowk and they will probably point you to my door.
