Kukdeshwar Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located in the village of Fangul Gavhan, which is in the Junnar area of Pune. Our office is actually at Bule Gangaram Tukaram’s house, which is number 46. Junnar is a very beautiful place with a lot of history, but farming here is still a lot of hard work every single day. We formed this company because we wanted to have a better way to manage our crops together instead of everyone doing their own thing. Most of us grow things like various vegetables or grains. It is a very tight-knit community here. We all know each other's families and histories. When we started Kukdeshwar, it was really just to make sure we could buy what we needed for the farms at a slightly better price by buying together. We do not have a marketing department or any professional staff. If you need to find us, you usually have to call one of us on our mobile phones or just show up at the house and see who is around. We spend our days checking on the fields and making sure the water is running right through the rows. It is a simple life, but it keeps us very busy from sunrise until sunset. We are not trying to be fancy or act like we are big business people. We just want to do right by our land and our families. Sometimes the crops do not do well, and we just have to figure it out together. That is just how it is.
