Kshitija Farmers Producer Company Limited

We’re located over in Zilpa, Katol, right at Janglu Panduhi’s place. Kshitija Farmers Producer Company Limited is what we call our little group. It started because we realized that farming on your own in this part of the country is getting harder every single year. We’re all just local people who have been working the soil for as long as we can remember. We don’t have any fancy offices or a big team of people in suits. It’s mostly just us sitting around and talking about what seeds we should be using or how to deal with the latest pests that are bothering the crops. The weather around here in Katol can be pretty unpredictable, and that keeps us on our toes all the time. We aren’t trying to be some huge corporation that takes over everything. We just want to make sure the farmers around Zilpa have a way to get their work done and maybe save a bit of money in the process. It’s a lot of trial and error, and sometimes things don’t go exactly how we planned them. That’s just life, I guess. We spend our days out in the sun and our evenings trying to figure out the paperwork side of things, which is never fun. We’re just trying to keep our heads above water and look out for our neighbors. It’s honest work, and we’re proud to be doing it right here where we grew up.
