Krushnai Flyash Bricks Co.

Our place is on the Paul Kondhwa Saraswad Road, near the Caniva Hotel in Kondhwa Budruk. We have a good-sized plot here where we produce fly ash bricks. The location is convenient for trucks, though the road can get quite busy at times. When you walk into the yard, you’ll see the machines running and the steam or dust depending on the weather. There are rows and rows of grey bricks drying in the sun. It’s a repetitive job, but it has to be done right every day. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. The crew we have is small but they know how to handle the equipment. There isn't a fancy office building, just a small cabin where we handle the bills and take some rest. People from the surrounding areas come by to check out the size and weight of the bricks. We don't use any sales pitches. We just let the bricks sit there and people can see what they are getting. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole afternoon getting it back up and running. It can be a bit stressful, but that’s part of the trade. We just keep moving forward, making the next batch and getting it ready for the next truck that pulls in. It’s a simple, grounded business and we like it that way.
