Krushi Mai Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Adharsh Nagar, Jafrabad. We use Maroti Gahaji Markad’s house at Number 1896 as our main base. It’s very easy to find because it’s right near the BSNL office. We are a group of farmers who came together to form this company. Krushi Mai is the name we chose because it felt right for what we do. We don't have a separate commercial building, so we just meet at Maroti’s place. We sit around and discuss our plans for the season. We have a cupboard where we keep all the company documents and the stamps. It’s not a formal setting. Sometimes there are kids playing nearby or people coming in to talk about unrelated things. We are all neighbors here. Being in Jafrabad, we are right where the farming happens. We don't have a lot of money for fancy things, so we just use what we have available. The house is a typical home in the neighborhood. We handle the registrations and the sales from a small table in the corner. It’s a group effort and everyone chips in when they can. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We just want to work together to get better results for our families. It’s simple, honest work that we do right here in Adharsh Nagar near the phone office.
