Krushi Bharari Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Alegaon in the Kadamvasti area of Daund. Our main point of contact is at Tarabai Bhimrao Ingavle’s place, which is where we handle the administrative stuff. Krushi Bharari is just a group of farmers who wanted to do things a bit differently than our fathers did. Daund is a busy place for agriculture and we are right in the middle of all that activity. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning or fancy furniture. We mostly meet outside under the trees or in the small room where we keep the ledger books. It’s a lot of physical labor throughout the year. We help each other with the crops and figure out the best way to get them to the buyers in town. Some of us have been farming these same plots since we were kids. We know every inch of these fields and what they need to grow. It’s not just a job for us, it is how we live our lives. We deal with the seasons as they come, one at a time. If it’s too dry, we worry about the wells. If it’s too wet, we worry about the rot. That’s just part of being a producer in Alegaon. We try to be fair with everyone who joins us. There is no big secret to what we do, just a lot of sweat and some basic planning. We are just a bunch of locals trying to make a living from the land.
