Krushi Agro Amrut Farmers Producer Company Limited

We started Krushi Agro Amrut Farmers Producer Company Limited because a bunch of us wanted to do something together as farmers. We have our main office over at Platinum Classic in Kharadi. It’s funny because Kharadi has changed so much lately with all the big IT buildings, but we are still focused on the farming side of things. We are on the first, second, and third plots of Sno 50/2. It sounds like a lot of space, but we use every bit of it for the paperwork and the meetings we have to hold. Being a producer company means we are always talking to different farmers about their harvest and how to get a better deal for everyone. It’s not always easy work. Sometimes we spend hours just arguing about the best way to move the produce or how to handle the latest rain that ruined some crops. But it's good to have a place in Pune where we can all meet up. The office is usually a bit messy with files and samples of seeds or grain lying around. People come in and out all day, mostly talking about prices and logistics. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy. You just walk in and someone will eventually help you out. It’s a real group effort here, and even though the city is growing around us, we stay focused on the soil. It’s hard work, but it works for us.
