Kora Readymade Garment

Kora Readymade Garment is right in Pune, specifically near the Inox theater. It’s a pretty lively part of town to be in. People are always walking by, either heading to a movie or just shopping around. Our shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into it. We have racks and racks of readymade clothes that we’ve put together. Usually, the front door is open to catch a bit of a breeze, even though it brings in the city noise. We spend a lot of time rearranging the hangers and making sure things look decent. It’s just a few of us working here. We know the regulars who stop by to see what’s new. Sometimes we’re busy, other times it’s quiet enough to have a long chat over some tea. The lighting inside is a bit yellow, and the floor has some scuffs from all the foot traffic over the years. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. People just come in, look at what they like, and we help them find the right size. It's a simple way of doing things. Being near Inox means we get a lot of younger crowds too. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but our little corner stays mostly the same. It’s a bit messy at the back where we keep the extra stock, but we know where everything is.
