Kohinoor Advertising is what we call ourselves. We are based on Samuel Street over in the Navi Peth area. It’s one of those parts of town that feels like it’s always been there. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time talking to clients and trying to get their names out there. We don't use any of those big marketing buzzwords. We just talk plain English and try to be helpful. Samuel Street can be quite narrow and crowded, especially during the middle of the day. We’ve gotten used to the noise and the hustle. It’s just part of being in Navi Peth. Our team is small, just a handful of us who have known each other for years. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to help local shops get some attention. The desk is usually covered in papers and sketches. We don't have a fancy digital system for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are still the best way to explain an idea. We’ve seen many businesses come and go on this street, but we’ve managed to stick around. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s honest work. If you're walking down Samuel Street, you’ll see our sign. It's nothing fancy, just like us. We keep a fan going because it gets hot in the afternoons, but we get the work done regardless. There is always someone here to answer the phone.
