K.K. Hospital

K.K. Hospital sits right at S.No. 52/1/6 Shriram Society, near the Mundhwa Bypass Chowk. If you know the Pune Nagar Highway, you know how loud and dusty that area can get with all the trucks passing by. We are right there in the middle of it. The hospital isn't hard to find once you get off the main bypass. Shriram Society is a bit quieter once you step inside the gates, but the highway noise never really goes away. We have been here for a while, dealing with everything that comes off the road. It’s a practical building, nothing too modern to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly white walls and the usual hospital furniture. The reception desk is right at the front, and there’s usually a bit of a crowd there. The doctors have their small rooms for consultations, and we have beds for people who need to stay over. Mundhwa is a growing area, so we see a lot of new faces along with the people who have lived in the society for years. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, but we have some coolers going. Sometimes the water delivery truck blocks the entrance for a few minutes, which can be a bit of a headache. It’s just a regular local hospital trying to keep up with the pace of the highway traffic and the needs of the neighborhood in Mundhwan.
