We are based in the 411 038 zip code area of Pune. It’s a decent part of Maharashtra to be in. Our day usually starts with a lot of coffee and a look at the pile of mail that came in the day before. We are accountants, so our lives revolve around deadlines and tax seasons. It’s not the most exciting job, but someone has to make sure the books are straight. Our office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It's got old chairs and plenty of filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't really go for that modern minimalist look because we actually have work to do. Most of our clients are locals from around Pune who have been coming to us for years. They know our names and we know theirs. It’s a quiet place for the most part, unless it's March. Then everything gets a bit chaotic. We just sit here and work through the piles. Sometimes we stay late when there's a lot to catch up on. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just come in, do the job, and go home to our families. It’s a living, and we’re glad to be doing it here in Pune. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. There are always plenty of spreadsheets to fill out and phone calls to return, and that keeps us plenty busy.
