We’ve been based in the Hadapsar Industrial Estate for quite a long time. It’s an old part of the industrial side of Pune. At Kirloskar Pneumatic Co. Ltd., the sound of machinery is just part of the background noise. We deal with air compressors and other pneumatic stuff. It’s a big site and there’s always something moving around, whether it’s a forklift or a delivery truck coming from the main gate. We have a lot of people working here, but it still feels like a local spot in some ways. We don't really go for the high-end corporate look. It’s more about the grease and the metal. The workshops are where everything happens. We spend our time making sure the parts are right and the machines are running properly. Hadapsar is a busy place, and getting in and out can be a chore during peak hours. Most of us have been here for years, so we know the routine by heart. We just focus on the engineering. It’s not about being the flashiest company; it’s about making things that actually work. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the weather. It's a solid place to work and we just get on with it. We don't need fancy offices to do what we do. It’s just how we are.
