Kiran Wagak

I am Kiran Wagak and I live and work in Shivaji Nagar. It is in the At Post Rajagari area, which falls under Taluka Chor 7. This is a quiet place compared to the big cities. Most people here know each other. My setup is very basic. It’s just how things are done in our taluka. I don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. Usually, I am just working out of the space I have available here at home or nearby. The roads around Shivaji Nagar can be a bit rough during the monsoon, so things slow down then. I’ve lived here my whole life. I know the trees and the paths around Rajagari. People come to me because they know where I am. It is not about having a big name or a lot of advertising. It is just about being available when someone needs something. I spend a lot of time outdoors or in the open part of the building. The air is better that way. My tools and papers are kept in a simple bag or on a small table. There is no secretary or phone line that rings all day. It is just quiet work. Sometimes the neighbors stop by for a cup of tea and we talk about the crops or the weather. It is a slow pace of life but it suits me fine. Shivaji Nagar is where I belong and where I do my thing. I've seen the seasons change here for many years and I like the rhythm of it.
