Keshri Tutorials

We've been here at Chikhali Road for a while now. The building is near Kasturi Market, which gets pretty crowded in the evenings. Keshri Tutorials is mostly just a few rooms where students come to sit and learn after their regular school hours. It’s nothing fancy, just some benches and a whiteboard. We spend a lot of time checking notebooks and explaining things over again until they get it. The traffic outside can be a bit loud sometimes, but once the door is shut, it’s mostly just the sound of pens scratching on paper. Chinchwad East has a lot of families, so we see many of the same faces every day. My desk is usually covered in folders and half-empty tea cups. We open up in the morning and stay late depending on who needs help. It's a simple setup we've got in Ga 11/11. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open the windows for some air. Most of the kids live nearby so they just walk or come on their cycles. It isn't like those big corporate centers you see in the city center. We just focus on the books and making sure the homework gets done. There’s always someone coming in to ask about timings or fees. We just keep things moving along day by day here in Sambhaji Nagar. It’s a lot of work but we’re used to it. The tea shop nearby keeps us going.
