Forbes Marshall

Forbes Marshall is located on the Mumbai-Pune Road in the Kasarwadi area of Pune. Our mailing address is PB No. 29. It’s a pretty large place compared to some of the smaller shops around here, but it still feels like a local workplace. We’ve been on this road for a very long time. You can see the traffic zooming by outside our gates all day long. Inside, there is a lot of activity. We have engineers, office staff, and factory workers all doing their part. It isn't a quiet place. There is always the sound of machinery or people discussing some technical problem. We don't have a big corporate culture that we talk about all the time. We just focus on the engineering. A lot of us have lived in Pune our whole lives and we’ve seen the Mumbai-Pune Road change from a quiet stretch to a massive highway. We deal with steam and instrumentation, which is pretty specialized stuff, but we try to talk about it in a way that makes sense. It’s not all perfect. Sometimes the systems go down or there’s a delay in the supply chain, and we have to work extra hours to fix it. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy branding. We just want to make sure the equipment we build is solid and that it does what it’s supposed to do. It’s a lot of practical, everyday work for the group here in Kasarwadi.
