Karann'S Ent Garments Private Limited

Our workplace is in the Patel Apartment CHS, right on Khot Lane in Ghatkopar West. We are in unit 5-B, which is part of Plot 173/7 near the JV Cross Road. It is a very busy part of Mumbai, and finding parking around here is almost impossible most days. The building is a typical residential and commercial mix, so we share the space with families living their lives right next to where we make our garments. It creates a strange but nice atmosphere where you hear the sounds of someone’s kitchen while we are busy at the sewing tables. We have a lot of machines running, and the hum of the motors is the background music to our day. The space is a bit tight because we have to store a lot of thread, buttons, and cloth rolls. We try to keep it organized, but when we are in the middle of a big order, things tend to get a bit messy. The local chai wala knows exactly how we like our tea, and he brings it up twice a day. Ghatkopar is a lively place to be, and there is always something happening on the street below. We don't have a fancy showroom; we just focus on the work right here in the apartment. Sometimes the power goes out for a few minutes, but we just take that as a sign to have a quick break before getting back to the machines.
