Kamini Beauty Parlour

You can find Kamini Beauty Parlour at Shop No 5 on Jangali Maharaj Road. This is one of the busiest streets in Pune, so there is always something going on outside our door. We are located near the Pearl Hotel and right opposite the Sony Showroom, which are big landmarks that help people find the shop. The parlour itself is modest. It is just a single room divided into sections for different services. We do basic beauty work like threading, hair coloring, and skin treatments. Since JM Road is so central, we get a mix of college students and working women coming in. Sometimes it gets very crowded on the weekends and people have to wait on the chairs outside the shop. I’ve been working here for several years, and I’ve seen the road change quite a bit, but the shop stays mostly the same. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the chairs are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while shopping nearby. It’s a practical business. We open early and stay until the last customer is done in the evening. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the life on JM Road.
