We are tucked away at 3 C/19 in Akurdi, right on the 15th Cross. It’s a small place but we manage to get quite a bit done in here. If you walk inside, you’ll probably smell the ink and see scraps of paper or vinyl all over the floor. We try to sweep up at the end of every day, but by noon the next morning, it’s usually back to the same mess. Most of our day is spent at the computers or standing over the printing machines making sure things are lining up the way they should. The 15th Cross isn't the loudest street in Akurdi, but it’s got its own rhythm with people coming and going. We don't have any big flashy signs outside our own door, just the work we do for other people. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because a machine acts up, and we just have to sit there and fix it ourselves. It’s not a corporate office with fancy chairs; we use whatever is comfortable and doesn't take up too much space. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to see if we can do a small print for them or help with a basic sign. We keep a pot of tea going most of the time because it helps pass the hours when we have a long run of prints to finish. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
