Kamal Gift House

Kamal Gift House is located at number one in the Hind Saurashtra Industrial Estate over in Pimpri. It’s a bit of a working area, so we get a lot of people who are employed in the nearby units stopping in. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The shop itself isn't anything fancy. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, mostly filled with different kinds of gifts and small items you might need for a party or a holiday. It gets a bit dusty because of all the trucks and activity in the industrial estate, so we spend a lot of our morning just wiping things down. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local business trying to make a living. Sometimes the air conditioning doesn't work right, so it gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we just open the door and keep going. We don't really do any big ads or anything like that. People mostly find us because they’re already in the area for work. It’s a simple life. We spend our time checking what’s in the boxes and making sure we haven't run out of the things people ask for most. Pimpri is a busy place, and being in the industrial estate means there is always something going on outside. We like being part of the noise and the hustle of the day-to-day work here. It’s not always easy but it is what we know.
