Kalon Beauty Saloon

Kalon Beauty Saloon is located at 203 Sanskruti Pratibimb, on Plot No 90 in Mayur Colony. This is in the Kothrud area of Pune, right near Jog School. Because we are on the second floor, we get a good view of the street and the school kids running around during their breaks. The building is a bit older, so the stairs can be a climb for some. Inside, the salon is divided into a few different sections. We have some basic wooden shelves and a few posters that have been up for years. The sunlight comes in quite strongly through the windows in the morning, which is the best time to be here. We usually have some light music playing, but often it’s drowned out by the sounds of the school bells or the traffic on the nearby road. It’s a quiet community in Mayur Colony, and most of our customers are women from the surrounding buildings. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. People mostly just find us by word of mouth or by seeing our name on the building directory. We keep the place as clean as we can, but it’s a working shop, so there’s always something that needs fixing or tidying up. It’s just a small, local business where we do our work every day. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just here to help our neighbors look a little better.
