So, we are K S Furniture Makers Pvt Ltd. You can find our workshop down on Disckeson Road, right by the Market Yard area. It’s a noisy part of town but it suits us fine because making furniture isn’t exactly a quiet job anyway. We have saws going and people hammering most of the day. The space is always filled with wood scraps and sawdust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up at the end of the shift. We make tables, chairs, and cupboards for people who live around here. Sometimes a local business will ask for a bunch of desks too. We aren't a big factory or anything corporate like that. It’s just a few of us who know how to work with wood and tools. Most days we are covered in dust by noon. The address is easy to find once you get into the Market Yard area. If you see a lot of timber stacked up against a wall, that’s probably us. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and carpets. If people want to see what we are making, they just walk into the back and look at the projects in progress. It’s a bit messy but it’s real work. We use local wood when we can get it at a decent price. Some days are slow and we just sit around on half-finished benches talking about the weather or the local news, but usually, there’s a pile of orders to get through. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy.
