Jyoti Beauty Parlour

Our little parlour is over in Ghorpade Peth, specifically at house number 13. It is a local neighborhood, so most of the ladies who come to Jyoti Beauty Parlour are just living a few streets away from us. We have been here in the Swargate area for quite a while now. It is a simple setup. We have a couple of chairs and the basic stuff for threading, waxing, and hair work. It is not the kind of place you would find in a big mall. It is more like a home-style business where everyone knows each other's family news and gossip. We spend a lot of time doing eyebrows or henna for local festivals and weddings. The space is small, but we make it work for everyone. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to say hello even if they do not need anything done that day. We do not have a website or anything like that; word of mouth is usually how people find out we are here. The street outside can be a bit narrow and crowded, but that is just Ghorpade Peth for you. We keep our prices where the local people can afford them because that is who we are here for. It is a quiet life, mostly. We open up in the morning, clean the mirrors, and wait for the first customer to walk through the door. It is a part of the community.
