Our place is at Plot no E103 on Bhigwan Road in Baramati. It’s in the MIDC section, so there’s a lot of noise and trucks going by all day. Jogeshwari Agri Biotech (Opc) Private Limited is a small operation. Being an OPC means it’s mostly just a one-person show with a bit of help. We focus on the biotech side of things, but it’s more practical than it sounds. We spend time checking out how different seeds react to the soil here. Baramati gets quite hot, so we have to take that into account. The office is basically a room with some basic lab stuff and a lot of notebooks. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lobby. It’s just a place to work. Sometimes we spend the whole day looking at soil samples under a lens. It can be tedious, but it’s important if you want the plants to grow right. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to provide some good information and products to the local farming community. It’s a quiet kind of business. People stop by sometimes to ask about their crops. We try to be helpful. The work is steady and it keeps us occupied. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the industrial area. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
