Jog Dev Classes

You can find us at 334 Shukrawar Peth, right in the heart of the old city area. Jog Dev Classes has been in this building for years, and it definitely looks the part of an older Pune establishment. The stairs are a bit steep and the hallways are narrow, but that’s just how things were built around here. Inside, we have rows of desks and a big green board that we’ve used so much it’s starting to get smooth in the middle. The windows look out over the street, and if you listen closely, you can hear the nearby shops opening their shutters every morning. It’s a quiet place mostly, except when the students are all talking at once during the five-minute break between subjects. We keep a stack of old question papers in the corner cupboard for whenever someone needs extra practice. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just open the windows wider and keep working by the natural light coming in. It’s a very local kind of place. We know most of the parents who live in the nearby lanes, and they often stop by to chat for a minute while dropping off their kids. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. It’s just a place where we sit and study. The wooden chairs are sturdy but a bit creaky when people move around. Every day is the same routine of marking attendance and clearing the board.
