Jldhari Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are located at House No 62 in Lamangaon, right in the Khuldabad area of Aurangabad. It’s Sukhdev Mattu Malode’s place where we keep our files. Most of us here are just local farmers who decided to join up as Jldhari Farmer Producer Company Limited. It’s not a fancy office. There are mostly just chairs and a big table where we sit and talk about our crops. We grow things like bajra and cotton, depending on what the season looks like. The weather around Maharashtra can be really unpredictable, so being together helps us manage. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the soil and getting the harvest ready. Sometimes the work is really hard and we’re out in the sun for ten hours straight. It’s just how life is here. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We just want to make sure we can sell what we grow for a decent price so our families are okay. People in the village know where to find us. If you come by, someone will probably offer you tea and tell you about the last rain. We’re just regular people who know the land. It’s a simple business, really. We share the costs of seeds and tools because it makes things a bit easier for everyone involved. That’s about it for us.
