I've been at 18 Kothrud for a while now. It’s tucked back in Swami Vivekanand Society, just behind Gandhi Bhavan. If you know New D P Road, you probably know the turn. Most days start early here. I get the shutters up, clear off the desk, and see who stops by. It isn't a fancy setup with glass walls or anything. It's just a room where things get done. People usually find me because they live nearby or someone told them where the office is. The traffic on D P Road gets loud sometimes, but back here in the society, it stays quiet enough to think. I handle the paperwork and the phone calls myself mostly. Sometimes the tea guy from around the corner drops by. It's just a local spot. Not much to look at from the outside, but it works for what it's for. Usually, I'm here until the evening unless I have to run an errand or go to the bank. It's a simple routine. I don't really do the whole big business thing. I just stay here and take care of what needs doing for the folks who walk in. If the gate is open, I’m usually inside at the desk. The address is pretty easy to find once you get past the main road landmarks. It’s just how things are run around here.
