Jijai Farmer Producer Company Limited

Out here in Pandare, near Baramati, life moves at its own pace. Jijai Farmer Producer Company Limited is based at M.N.244 in Kautaknagar. Baramati is known for agriculture, so it made sense for us to set up here. We are just a group of farmers who decided to organize a bit better. The office is simple. We do not have a receptionist or fancy coffee machines. Usually, someone is just brewing tea on a small stove. We talk about the rain, the prices at the Baramati market, and how to get our produce to Pune without too much trouble. It is a lot of coordination. You have to call people, check the trucks, and make sure the paperwork is okay. Being a producer company sounds official, but it is mostly just us sitting around and figuring out how to survive the next season. The dust from the road gets into everything, but you get used to it. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We grow things, and then we try to sell them together so we do not get cheated. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise. Kautaknagar is a small spot, but we are doing our bit for the local folks. We do not have a big plan to change the world, just to keep our farms going. Every day is different depending on the harvest.
