Our small company is located in Shahapur, which is in the Majalgaon area of Beed. We use the address of Rathod Jema for our official work. We are a group of farmers from this local area who wanted to work together. Farming in Beed is quite a challenge sometimes because of the heat and the water situation. We grow what we can and we help each other out with the work. Jemanaik Farmers Producer Company Limited is just the name we registered so we could do things properly. In reality, we are just a few families and neighbors trying to make things work. We don't have a fancy office or any employees in suits. You’ll usually find us out in the fields or sitting together talking about the crop prices. We don't have any big plans to change the industry. We just want to make sure we can support our families. We share our experiences with different seeds and how to handle pests. It’s all very basic. We don't use any promotional talk because we don't need it. People know who we are in the village. We just try to get a fair deal for our hard work. Every season brings something different and we just deal with it as it comes. It’s a very grounded life. We put our energy into the soil and hope for the best results when it is time to harvest.
