We are located in Akurdi, at Sector 29, Plot Number Sdc-1. Our salon is very close to DY Patil College, so we get a lot of students and people associated with the college coming in. It’s a unisex place, so we see everyone from young guys wanting a new look to ladies coming in for a full hair treatment. The neighborhood is pretty lively, especially during the day when the college is in session. We’ve been at this spot for a good length of time. The salon is divided into different areas for different services, but it’s all fairly open. We aren't a corporate-style place with a receptionist in a suit. It’s more laid back than that. My stylists and I just get on with the work. We use specific methods for cutting hair because they are reliable and people know what to expect. The shop itself is functional—we have the mirrors, the chairs, and the products we need. Sometimes the parking out front can be a bit of a mess because of all the student scooters, but that's just life in this part of town. We don't bother with much promotional stuff. People mostly find us because we’re in a convenient spot and we’ve been here long enough for folks to know us. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep our customers happy. Most people leave satisfied and that is enough.
