Jai Mata Di Party Shop

So, we are over at Shop No 9, right across from Kailash Crockery in the Pimpri Colony area. This place is usually a bit of a mess because of all the balloons and streamers we keep in stock. Jai Mata Di Party Shop is where people come when they have a birthday or a wedding coming up in the family. We have boxes of candles and hats piled up almost to the ceiling. It is a small space but we make it work. During the festival seasons it gets really crowded in here with people looking for specific decorations. Sometimes the floor is covered in glitter and bits of ribbon but we try to sweep it up when things quiet down in the afternoon. My younger brother helps me out when he isn't at his other job. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything fancy like that. People just know we are here because we have been in Pimpri Colony for so long. It is a loud and colorful place to work every day. You get to see people when they are happy and planning something fun, which is a nice change from most jobs. We just sell what we have on the shelves and try to keep enough stock so nobody leaves empty-handed. It’s a simple business but it keeps us on our feet from morning until the shutters go down at night.
