Our little place is located near the Bhairavnath Mandir in Dhayari. Being so close to the temple means we see a lot of people every single day, especially during the festivals when things get really crowded. We sell a bit of this and a bit of that. You might find some household items on one shelf and toys for kids on the other. It is not the most organized shop in the world, but we know where most things are hidden. The bells from the temple are something we hear all the time, and it makes the atmosphere feel quite peaceful even when we are busy. We have lived in Dhayari for a long time, so the shop feels like an extension of our home. Customers often stop by just to chat for a few minutes before moving on. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that clicks a bit. During the summer, it gets quite hot, so we sit near the entrance to catch the breeze. We take things as they come. If a delivery is late, we just wait. If the power goes out, we light a few candles. It is a simple way of doing business without any big corporate rules. We just want to make sure the locals can find what they need close to home. Sometimes we keep a bowl of water outside for the stray dogs. It is just a friendly local spot where everyone is welcome to browse.
