My business is located at number 911 in Bhawani Peth. This area is known for being a very busy market hub, and my spot is right in the middle of it all. Every morning, the street comes alive with people moving goods and shouting out to one another. It’s a loud and dusty environment, but that is just the nature of Bhawani Peth. My office is a simple place where I handle my daily work. I have a big wooden desk where I keep my ledgers and a few chairs for visitors. We don't have any air conditioning, so we rely on the ceiling fans to keep the air moving. It’s a very traditional way of doing things. I don't spend money on marketing or fancy decorations. Most of my business comes from people who have known me for years. I usually spend the day checking on stock or talking to the traders who pass by. Lunch is usually a quick affair brought from home. By the late afternoon, the pace starts to slow down a little, and I can catch up on my record-keeping. It’s a lot of hard work and long hours, but it’s what I’ve always done. The building at 911 has been my base for a long time, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s a gritty, real part of the city, and we just fit right in.
