Jagadamba Embroidery

We've been here in Viman Nagar for a while now. Most people find us near Mithagar Road, tucked away in Ganesh Nagar. It’s a busy spot in Wadgaon Sheri. The shop usually smells like fresh thread and sometimes the tea the guys bring from the corner stall. Jagadamba Embroidery isn't a fancy place with glass windows and AC. It's just a workroom where we get things done. We spend most of our mornings sorting out the spools and checking the machines. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It's just how things go here. My father started with a few needles, and now we have several setups going all day. The noise of the machines is constant, but you get used to it after a week. We don't really do big advertisements or anything. People just walk in from the street because they saw our sign or heard from a neighbor. Sometimes the orders get backed up when it's wedding season, and we end up working late under the tube lights. It's honest work, and it keeps us busy. We handle a lot of different fabrics, from thin cotton to heavy materials. You’ll usually see a lot of colorful scraps on the floor by the evening.
