Jadhav Spoken English

Our place is in Chinchwad, and it is a pretty straightforward operation we have here. People come to us because they want to get better at talking in English, maybe for a job or just to feel more comfortable when they go out. It’s not a big school with long hallways. It’s more of a place where we sit down and go over words and sentences until they feel right. A lot of students come after they finish their regular work or college classes, so the evenings are usually our busiest time. We talk about everyday things to get the practice in. Chinchwad is a busy area with a lot of shops and factories, so there are always people moving around. Sometimes it gets a little noisy outside, but we just keep focusing on the lesson. We don't use big textbooks that are hard to understand. We prefer just speaking and listening. It’s a bit informal, which I think helps people relax. When you aren’t scared of making a mistake, you learn much faster. We’ve seen all kinds of people walk through the door, from young students to older folks who just want to keep learning. It’s just a small space where we try to make things a bit easier for people who find English a bit tricky. There’s no big sign or anything flashy, just us doing our thing every day.
