Jadamba Gift Articals & General Stores

Our shop is located right near Bhosale Garden, out by the Ring Road and S G Highway area in Bhekrai Nagar. It is a bit of a mouthful to say the whole address, but most locals just know the general area. We carry a mix of things because in this part of town, you never know what someone might need. One person comes in for a gift for a wedding, and the next person just needs some soap or a pack of biscuits. That is why we call it a general store too. It is often quite loud with the traffic from the highway nearby, but you get used to it after a few years. We keep the doors open to let some air in, though that means we have to sweep the floor three or four times a day. The shelves are packed with all sorts of plastic items, some toys, and basic household stuff. We don't have a computer for everything, so we still do a lot of things by hand and remember prices the old way. Sometimes we run out of change and have to run next door to ask the other shopkeepers for help. It is a friendly enough neighborhood. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. We have been here a good while and the building is starting to show its age, but it works for us and our regulars.
